What happens when you stack magnets?

The N pole will attach S pole and make them much more stronger than before.If they are the same pole,they will refuse to attach each other and push away with some magnetic force.

For example.one disc magnet diameter 1”*1”height.Two such magnets stacked.The magnetic force is close to diameter 1”*2”height.

Does that mean the strength is doubled?
We are often asked if stacking two magnets together will double the pull force. The answer to that is not always. It depends on the type of magnets and the poles of magnets and how they stack.
